The Ravens and Titans are the NFL’s top two rushing offenses. Reigning NFL MVP Lamar Jackson set another NFL record when he eclipsed the 1,000-yard rushing mark for a second straight season. No other quarterback has ever come close to doing that.

Tennessee RB Derrick Henry became just the eighth player in NFL history to surpass the 2,000-yard mark with 250 rushing yards in the Titans season finale. Henry led the league in rushing for the second consecutive season.

The run games of both teams will be a key for each team on Sunday. In last year’s divisional playoff game, Henry ran 30 times for 195 yards. He also went over 100 – 133 – yards in the Titans Week 11 win over Baltimore this season.

The Ravens led the league with 191.9 rushing yards per game. Baltimore went for over 400 on the ground in their season finale against Cincinnati. In addition to Jackson, rookie J.K. Dobbins ran for 805 yards and veteran Gus Edwards added another 723.

Because of their outstanding running games, both teams have explosive offenses. Tennessee was one of five NFL teams that averaged over 30 points per game. The Titans averaged 30.7, which was fourth in the league.

Baltimore wasn’t too far behind ranking seventh in scoring offense averaging 29.3 points per game. The big difference in the Ravens and Titans offenses is the passing game. Tennessee QB Ryan Tannehill threw for over 3,800 yards and 33 touchdowns.

Jackson threw for 2,757 yards and 27 touchdowns. Baltimore had the worst passing game in the NFL averaging just 171.2 yards per game. This is the info that is a need to know when sports betting. Part of that may be due to the overall success they had running the football.

What it all means simply is that both Baltimore and Tennessee can score points. Those thinking about playing the home underdog should know that the Titans are 6-22 ATS in their last 28 games in which they were the underdog at home.

The Over went 12-3-1 in Titans games this season. That was the best mark in the NFL. The Over has hit in 11 of the Titans last 14 home games and seven of their last eight overall.

Since Tannehill became Tennessee’s starting quarterback early last season, the Over is 22-6-1 in his 29 starts. At home in Nissan Stadium with Tannehill under center, the Over has cashed in 11 of 14 starts.
