Fanatics End Sportsbook Beta Testing, Launches Online Sportsbook

Fanatics ended its sportsbook beta testing. Also, it launched its official online sportsbook in Massachusetts, Maryland, Tennessee, and Ohio. The sportsbook is available for both Android and iOS platforms.

The company started the beta testing its sports wagering app in Tennessee in March. Also, access was by-invite only for existing Fanatics customers.

The Fanatics Sportsbook will include more options for punters, an improved search function, and a “discover” page featuring expert choices, featured games, popular wagers, and special offers.

As a result of acquiring PointsBet’s U.S. assets, Fanatics Sportsbook claims it can leverage critical components of PointsBet’s technological infrastructure to enhance its sports betting engine. According to a press release, the sportsbook will use PointsBet’s cutting-edge risk and trading platform in conjunction with Banach Technology’s quantitative-driven trading models. Also, it allows real time sports betting.

Users may also earn “FanCash” from Fanatics, which they can use to place bonus bets on the sportsbook and spend on team gear at Fanatics.com. Same-game parlays will reward customers with 5% FanCash, parlays will earn 3%, and straight bets will earn 1%.

As a competitive edge over its rivals, Fanatics has highlighted the seamless integration of its apparel and sports betting businesses. According to online gambling South Korea experts, FanCash could be a valuable client acquisition and retention strategy for the sports betting operator. Despite this, state authorities have discouraged fans from purchasing Fanatics items to participate in Fanatics Sportsbook bonuses and bet promotions.

Fanatics Sportsbook has 12 pending licenses across the United States, including Colorado, Iowa, New Jersey, and Virginia, according to information presented at a recent New York State Gaming Commission hearing.
