We’re now less than three months away from the start of the NFL season. The start of the 2021 season will begin with the defending champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers hosting the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday, September 9.

Super Bowl Favorites
In mid-June, odds for the next Super Bowl winner is a mixture of the best teams and who the public is backing.
As of this writing, the top-ten Super Bowl favorites and their NFL betting odds:

- Buffalo Bills: +1200
- Los Angeles Rams: +1300
- San Francisco 49ers: +1400
- Baltimore Ravens: +1400

The Chiefs have made it to two straight Super Bowls, while the Bucs are the defending champs. Both are understandably at the top of the rankings, but remember, a team hasn’t repeated as Super Bowl champion since the 2005 New England Patriots.

Another way to gauge how the betting public views each NFL team is the win totals set by sportsbooks. You can bet the over or the under, just like you can a normal game total.
Remember, there has been a 17th game added to the schedule this season, a permanent change from the previous 16-game schedule.
