NFL Playoff Format and Schedule
The format for the postseason is quite simple. You have a single-elimination tournament of seven teams in the AFC and NFC. This is made up of the four division winners (North, South, East, and West). Then you have three Wild Card teams, which are made up of the best remaining teams by record.
The first stage of the NFL playoffs is the Wild Card round. This round starts on January 11 through January 13. For Saturday, you can start off your football weekend with the Los Angeles Chargers facing the Houston Texans at 4:30 PM ET, then followed by the Pittsburgh Steelers facing the Baltimore Ravens at 8:00 PM ET.
For Sunday, you have three games: The Denver Broncos versus the Buffalo Bills, the Green Bay Packers versus the Philadelphia Eagles, and the Washington Commanders versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Monday has a more relaxed pace with just the Minnesota Vikings versus the Los Angeles Rams game at 8:00 PM ET.
Divisional Round to the Super Bowl
