DollarPerHead.com Bookie Pay Per Head Review

Our latest in our series of bookie pay per head reviews is about DollarPerHead.com. Dollar Per Head is popular because of their name, and what it says: that you can manage a sportsbook using a pay per head software for just $1 per player. Our DollarPerhead.com Bookie Pay Per Head Review will help you, our readers, find out if this is indeed true, and what you can expect for a dollar per head service.

DollarPerHead.com has been in business since 2016, and has been trying to compete with some of the best in the industry. Looking at their site and list of services, they do offer very similar software features from any other pay per head. But of course, we will see if they are as good in practice as they are in paper.

DollarPerHead.com Rating

  • Pay Per Head Software: 5.0 out of 10
  • Player Betting Platform: 5.0 out of 10
  • Cost Per Player: 1.0 out of 10
  • Management Tools: 6.0 out of 10
  • Customer Service: 4.0 out of 10
  • TOTAL RATING: 4.20 out of 10

Their site looks great. Its sleek, with a very modern design. Intriguing colors, and all around looking really nice. But once you start reading the site, this is where questions start piling up. They say they offer a free two week trial to new bookies, but then their main page says that you can have a sportsbook for $1 in your first two weeks.

They also say that they offer $1 per head, but once you open their website, you immediately see, in large font, that the rate is $5. Talk about confusing. And this is a red flag here.

Bookie Pay Per Head Service

DollarPerHead – Registration, Promos and More

DollarPerhead.com Bookie Pay Per Head ReviewAs mentioned above, they are advertising quite a lot of price points, which was really very confusing, so we decided to register to see for ourselves. Turns out, the free trial is the correct trial advertised (as of publishing time), but you need to request for it. Waiting for someone on their end to help us try out their services is honestly quite outdated, and defeats the purpose of improving efficiency in your pay per head sportsbook software.

Now, the trial does give us a chance to look at their sportsbook software, but not all of it is something we can truly say that is worth all the trouble for. While they do offer what all other pph providers do, the quantity of services are somewhat limited. We have seen many pay per head providers, and we can therefore see that Dollar Per Head might be offering a lower price point because bookies will be getting less from them.

DollarPerHead.com Bookie Pay Per Head Review

Dollar Per Head is one provider that was really confusing for us to use. Because once the trial is over, you will need to start paying for the service, right? Well, their bookie pay per head rate, does start at $1. But $1 gets you the most basic of services. Meaning, all of the services that you can see that they say they offer is there, but not for a dollar. Does not seem true to the dollar per head name, it seems.

DollarPerhead.com Bookie Pay Per Head ReviewThey offer a range of services that the more you use, the higher the price will be. Now, there is nothing wrong with that. Many pay per head companies offer packages for their services. But the difference is, they advertise it as such. Even before you sign up, its clear that for x amount, you will get y in services. Here, you need to call them up and clarify and ask for a breakdown because you cannot find the information on the site.

This is a problem for us because if you have a site that has conflicting information on the most basic details, then what will the users expect in the software? If your specs are not clearly outlined versus the price point, then you are not being transparent. Why would you hide things? This will open up to even more questions and doubts. Especially when other providers are not like this.

DollarPerHead.com Opinion and Recommendation

I do not feel comfortable recommending a site that has unclear information. As mentioned earlier, price points and service packages are normal in the industry. You can pay more to get more. But again, you have to be upfront about it. Imagine the disappointment of many bookies thinking they will be all set at only $1, only to find out that it will be a basic sportsbook without a casino, racebook or even phone wagering.

There are other services that are reliable, honest, and offer the full suite of services that bookies need at a flat and affordable rate. I’d rather you go on and try those. Again, it will always be your decision to choose the pay per head provider for you. But with this site, I’d suggest you get in touch with their sales or customer service people and clarify everything before signing up for their services, that way you will not be blindsided by their rates.
